  1. At this point, shouldn't there be a way in word processors to simply/automatically remove empty lines that occur at a page-break? Like, I don't need a single empty line at the top of all these pages. Can it just go away?

        lol, that was so much faster and easier. I was failing with word processors for a few days on & off. Could browsers improve their page fragmentation? Yes. Do I wish Firefox supported the widows property? Yes. Did I get it basically perfect anyway, in ~45m? Damn right.
