      toddlibby I do more slides instead of notes. If I want to say it, there's a slide for it, then I follow the slides. No script, but I rehearse progressions that need to flow smoothly/quickly - then trust myself to wander as needed. I have 2-4 talks in rotation, & add/remove about yearly

    toddlibby In-person is more forgiving, & I play things a bit looser - going off the energy of the room. On camera I get nearly scripted, but still using the slides _as_ the script. Then I keep a grid view on the monitor with the camera, so I can see my narrative at a glance while talking.

      toddlibby A few things I keep in mind: - people don't remember every detail, they remember stories, ideas, things to look up later - everyone is rooting for you. Use mistakes to invite them into your thought process, & they'll stick with you through anything. - breath. take a sip. breath.
