    jmaslak I think all along there have been people getting it wrong & others right. Not always the same people, but always both & it goes wrong when we center (cis, white, wealthy) 'sameness' & respectability over intersections of difference & the most marginalized.

      jmaslak so we know what to look for: Gatekeeping, centering whiteness, excluding the most vulnerable, assimilation, respectability, &c We don't have to all get it right all the time, if we can keep recentering each other around the long-term systemic battles & keep moving forward slowly
