Hate to burst the bubble, but those pictures going around are very much not Amish. You'll never see Amish protesting. They aren't Mennonite either, from what I can tell. It's very likely there are Mennonites protesting - I know some who are - but probably not in plain clothes. Plain (conservative, old order, etc) Mennonites would be more like the Amish - refusing to get involved with such 'worldly' politics.Permalink On twitter.com
