      1. CSS is hard because the underlying problem is fundamentally challenging: code accessible designs across unknown devices & environments. Audacious! The language is growing quickly, & there are many useful tools – but that complexity is a central feature of the open web.

      There’s no need to insult the language, or the people who use it, or the people who find it frustrating, or the people who don’t care to learn it. There is need to *train* and *pay* people who are interested in that challenge - as spec writers, tool-builders, & engineers.

      Embrace tools & systems that help you manage that complexity. Be skeptical of tools & systems that try to hide or remove it.
