        ppk I think I'm seeing a different issue than you? There's no stretching involved, & align-items doesn't seem to help here. The problem is that when I make the card itself a grid internally, it stops providing intrinsic height back to the parent grid. Not sure if it's a bug?

      ppk oh, I'm looking at it in Firefox. 🤦🏻‍♀️ That's probably the difference in what we're seeing.

    ppk Your fix works perfectly in Chrome. I must be seeing a Firefox bug here.
