albedoa I'm still working this out, but it's likely a combination of 1 & 2. 1. for somewhat open-ended configurations that really need to live in maps, and still have some defaults built in 2. for simpler settings that only need a cascade of single value, config, & fallbackPermalink On twitter.com

albedoa It's a real good question, and I've been meaning to write about that more specifically. Worth noting: you can only *configure* a module once (which changes starting value), but you can *re-assign variables* as often as you want (which changes *future* value only)On twitter.com
